Vice President Venkaiah Naidu said in Bhopal- Indian education system should be overhauled

“There should be balance in the journalism and journalist should work with a positive attitude. If anyone does positive work it should be highlighted,” said Venkaiah Naidu Vice-President and chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication.

He was speaking at the 3rd convocation of the university at MP Assembly auditorium on Wednesday. Around 201 degrees were awarded during the programme that includes 39 degrees of MPhil, 12 PHd degrees and rest of masters level. Senior Journalist Mahesh Srivastava, renowned author and environmentalist Amritlal Begad and MG Vaidh were conferred doctorate of literature.

Naidu demanded that the Indian education system should be overhauled and the education should be in mother language of the students. He said that the government can’t do everything just by passing a bill. “The bill should be followed by political will and administrative skill to change the mindset of the people to kill social evil,” he added.
